WEEK 3 & 4I’m sorry I kind of dropped the ball on week 3, but it wasn’t very ‘picturefull’ so I combined week 3 with 4. I messed around in the supermarket, Makeup & home DIY face scrubs were abundant, I went out for drinks and dinner with the family a few times during the Easter holidays, met a giant blowfly I named it ‘Goliath’, As it was Easter I took more snaps of the Buns than usual, I de potted some shadows & FINALLY learnt how to link my laptop to my TV and watch things on Youtube that way.  I hope you all had a fantastic Easter  filled with chocolate of course. (A pic of my homemade traditional Rocky Road is up there, let me know if you want the recipe for it and I’ll put it up)Gidge xx

Slapped on a nude polish after my shower. I really need to work on my technique. I’m a terrible smudger. I need one of those nail product thingies that fix it. Can not for the life of me remember the name of what they’re called. While it boasts being speed dry it tends to take longer to dry the more coats you put on which is rather annoying. takes three coats to become opaque. Otherwise a nice color. I won’t be repurchasing though. Cheerio & have a great Easter and long weekend!Gidge xx

WEEK 2I’ve been trying out some new products this week including nail polish, face masks and lipsticks. I’m making some new friends as well as learning more about social media and blogging. I enjoyed lunch and Hightea. Knick Knacks, Coffee & Bunny Snuggles littered my week aswell as a slightly messy Twilight drinking game with a good friend. In hindsight shotting everytime someone was topless in the movies wasn’t a fantastic idea (DAMN you Taylor Lautner), I wound up with a ripper hangover the next day. Stay tuned for week THREE!

I saw this type of thing float around the blogs and thought it was kind of cool. My week in Photo’s. I’m on FB, Instagram and I take some pictures that don’t make it online so I can showcase them here for you. 1. Saw a fantastic sunset that set the whole house alight in hues of pinks, reds & purples. 2. Keeping up with my bedroom makeover, now that my walls are painted and the closet system is up I whipped up my own DIY floating book bookshelves. 3. I picked up my WOMADelaide media pass, more than a bit chuffed with myself. 4. Fresh sheets, new bookshelves and my laptop made me so happy for bedtime I instagramed it. 5. I used to pass this little doorway on the way to work at the zoo all the time, there’s rumors it’s part of an entrance to secret tunnels in Adelaide. 6. I also spotted many duckies on my walk and this little dude shyly walked up to me (I suspect he thought I had food) and posed for a good minute while I happy snapped him. 7. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t partake in silly stunts I see online. 8. My cat has a catnip problem and doesn’t like me sharing the evidence. 9. I have so many damn cords I could strangle the whole street with them, so I hopped online and grabbed the usb wall attachment and multi-charger online. It’s been a life saver. 10. Can anyone tell I’m pining for winter? 11. After I did the bookshelves I whacked this nifty jewellery hanger system up. Note to self….I need more jewellery. 12. Do you have your BARRIO key?

For “BARGAIN” prices you simply cant pass up Essence in general. I love how pigmented their polishes are. The brush applicator itself reminds me of the brushes you’ll find in shellac polishes only a little longer and it makes application a breeze. Plus it’s relatively streak free!CON: It’s chips like nobodies damn business! I recommend a chip free clear polish or top coat if you’re going to use these puppies.

It’s 1am. Watching Supernatural & painted my nails with the latest nail color trend. It’s definently time for bed now! (I’m so crap at nail painting. Its was a cheap $2.50 polish too. I’ll touch them up with a clear top coat tomorrow morning.)
